Welcome Dr. Mark Page, Assistant Principal, Castleberry High School

Castleberry ISD welcomes Dr. Mark Anthony Page as the newest Assistant Principal at Castleberry High School. Dr. Page joins Castleberry ISD from Killeen ISD where he served as an assistant principal for the past year. He started his career in education 17 years ago as a high school speech teacher and coach in Gainesville ISD.

Dr. Page earned a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communication from Western Kentucky University in 2002. He then earned his Masters of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sports Management from the University of Kentucky in 2004. After relocating to Texas and starting his career in education, he earned his principal certification while attending the University of Texas at Arlington. In 2021, he completed his education goal of obtaining his Doctorate of Educational Leadership from Concordia Texas.

Dr. Page comes to Castleberry with an array of educational and diverse experiences. He has worked in large and small districts in urban, suburban, and rural areas. While serving as an assistant principal in Kermit ISD, he was instrumental in the turnaround of Kermit Junior High School. He is known for being a culture builder.

Originally from Louisville, KY, Dr. Page has called Texas home since 2005. Outside of education, Dr. Page enjoys spending time with his wife, Diona, and their three children, Zaniyah, E’lyn, and Mark-Anthony “Bubba.” He enjoys kayaking, playing sports, playstation, and traveling. He is anxiously awaiting a trip to his wife’s home country of Greece!

Dr. Page is grateful and humbled by the offer to join Castleberry ISD. He has been in search of the community that he can call home. He aspires to contribute to the continued success of Castleberry High School, while actively working towards developing his leadership skills with the goal of one day becoming a Principal and leading his own campus within the district. As an educator and leader Dr. Page believes in the three C’s: Community, Culture, and Climate. He is grateful to the Board for the opportunity and is ready for the world to hear his ROAR!
