Castleberry ISD Welcomes Jeni Long Innovation Leader

Castleberry ISD is excited to announce Jeni Long as the district’s new Innovation Leader. Jeni Long comes to Castleberry ISD from Eagle Mountain Saginaw ISD where she served as a technology trainer and EdTech consultant for the past six years. She began her career in education as a classroom teacher teaching math and reading for grades 4-7.

Jeni has served in education for 24 years. She has experience as a classroom teacher teaching math and reading to middle grades, and secondary ELA and Science Curriculum Specialist. For the past 13 years, she has served as a Technology Integration Specialist in various school districts in Texas and Tennessee.
Long received her Master’s Degree in Educational Technology Leadership from Lamar University. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University.

Recently, Long and business partner Sallee Clark, also known as “Jenallee,” were named among the EdTech K-12 Magazine Top 30 IT Influencers to follow in 2022. In addition, the dynamic duo, Jenallee, has recently published The Microsoft Teams Playbook: Your Guide to Creating an Empowered Classroom.

Jeni Long is a mother of 4 and wife of 24 years. She and her husband, Kris, have three daughters and one son. Her eldest daughter, Payton, is completing her first year at Tarleton State, majoring in Kinesiology. She has two daughters, Kaylee (16) and Chloe (11) and one son, Jacob (10). Jeni enjoys spending time with her family, playing with her family doodles, exercising, and traveling.

Jeni strives to empower teachers to do more than ever before with educational technology. Together, as a force for good, Jenallee is excited to bring their knowledge and passion to the students and staff at Castleberry ISD.
