Castleberry ISD is thrilled to announce the promotion of Ty Neal as the district’s new Secondary Reading Language Arts Coordinator. Neal has served the Castleberry Independent School District for the past six years as an instructional coach and curriculum coordinator. Prior to joining Castleberry ISD, she started her career in education with Weatherford ISD where she was the English Department Chair.
Ty Neal brings over a decade of dedicated service and expertise to her role as the newly appointed Secondary Reading Language Arts Coordinator. She is deeply passionate about implementing targeted instructional strategies and empowering educators through meaningful professional learning, curriculum development, and vertically aligned teaching methodologies.
Neal attended Abilene Christian University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in English Literature & Composition. She then pursued a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Lamar University. Her combined passion for language arts and educational leadership helps her foster opportunities where both students and educators can thrive.
Neal is honored to support Castleberry in providing an exceptional educational journey for every student through district-wide collaboration and data-driven approaches. She would also like to thank the Board of Education for the opportunity to continue to choose Castleberry, a community she has grown to love and consider her work family.
