Castleberry ISD is pleased to announce Stacia Graves as the district’s director of fine arts. Graves has served Castleberry ISD for the past three years, most recently as the fine arts and UIL coordinator. Throughout her 17-year career in education, she has held various teaching and leadership roles in Castleberry, Birdville, Carroll, and Fort Worth ISDs.
Graves is a two-time graduate of the University of North Texas, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership. She was awarded the Bayard H. Friedman District Chair for Teaching Excellence Award. Her former students have won numerous performance awards, helping to build community partnerships with organizations such as Junior Achievement of Chisholm Trail, TCU, and the Bass Hall Children’s Education Foundation.
Stacia is most proud of her daughter, Julia Graves (15). The mother-daughter duo enjoys running, reading, traveling, and coordinating all of Julia’s activities.
Graves believes in developing meaningful relationships to foster community and strategic partnerships. She is grateful to continue to support the exceptional talent and creativity of Castleberry ISD’s fine arts team. She would like to thank the Board of Education and the fine arts department for the opportunity to continue the tradition of excellence for all students.
