Castleberry High School has announced that Hajar Zghoul is the salutatorian for the class of 2023. As the school community prepares to celebrate the incredible accomplishments of its graduating seniors, Hajar's achievement serves as a shining example of the dedication and hard work that Castleberry High School students strive for.
Hajar's achievements at Castleberry High School are nothing short of remarkable. The daughter of Shadia Smady and Hussein Zghoul, Hajar has been a dedicated member of the Castleberry Lion community for over a decade. Her involvement in school activities has been extensive and varied, including leadership roles in the Superintendent Student Advisory Committee, the National Technical Honor Society, and the National Honor Society, as well as being an active donor to Carter BloodCare.
Not only has Hajar excelled in extracurricular activities, but she has also demonstrated impressive academic prowess. Hajar has successfully completed a range of challenging courses, including Advanced Placement, University of Texas OnRamps, and Tarrant County College Dual Credit courses. Her academic achievements have earned her over 30 credits and an outstanding overall GPA of 5.336.
In the fall, Hajar is deciding between Vanderbilt University or TCU to major in Neuroscience. Regardless of which university Hajar chooses to attend in the fall, there is no doubt she has a bright future ahead.
Graduation for Castleberry High School class of 2023 is at 7:30 PM on Friday, May 26, 2023 inside MacGorman Auditorium on the campus of Southwestern Theological Seminary.
