Meeting Information

The Castleberry ISD Board of Education meets once a month for Regular Board Meetings that are typically scheduled on the second Monday of each month in the board room located in the Castleberry ISD Gary S. Jones Administration Building, 5228 Ohio Garden Road, Fort Worth. Meeting dates and times are subject to change. Special meetings, workshops, and public hearings are scheduled as needed. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend the meeting at 5:30 p.m. Board agendas are posted at the Administration Building, and a summary of the meeting is posted on this web page.

Communications from Citizens

Citizens of the district should understand the process for dealing with concerns, problems, and complaints relating to the school district. Citizens should address their concerns through proper channels, beginning with the classroom teacher, then to the campus Principal, Executive Director, Superintendent, and finally the Board of Education. 

The public may register to address the Board during regular and special Board meetings. Persons who wish to participate in this portion of the meeting must submit the Communications from Citizens form in person or via email to the Superintendent's office located at 5228 Ohio Garden Road, no later than 1:00 p.m. on the day of the board meeting and shall indicate the topic about which they wish to speak. No presentation may exceed three minutes. In the event of a large number of communications from citizens, the time limit may be adjusted to two minutes per speaker. (BED LOCAL Policy)

Board members will hear comments but not directly engage in discussion with citizens during a board meeting. In response to a citizen's comments, the Board President may direct the Superintendent to research items and report to the Board at a later meeting.
