Back to School Bash

Thursday, July 25, 2024 // 9 AM to 12 PM 

Castleberry ISD families are invited to this year's Back-to-School Bash on Thursday, July 25! This annual event is a collaborative effort between local community organizations and the district, aimed at offering giveaways, services, and resources to support Castleberry ISD families in preparing for the upcoming school year.

  • Location: Castleberry Elementary [1100 Roberts Cut Off Road | Fort Worth, TX 76114] 

Families are requested to park in the front parking lot of Castleberry Elementary, as indicated on the map below. Parking is not permitted in the drop off lane. Additional overflow parking is available on Tulane Avenue or in the One Faith Church parking lot across the street (1200 Roberts Cut Off Road).

Clear Backpack/School Supplies Reservation Form 

The first 1,200 students whose names are submitted on this year’s reservation form will be guaranteed a clear backpack and school supplies—free of charge—at the event! This form was distributed to all families via ParentSquare on Saturday, June 29 at 6 PM.  

Castleberry ISD sent a reservation confirmation memo via ParentSquare Secure Documents at 5:30 PM on Tuesday, July 16. Parents should have received a separate confirmation notice for each child they included on the initial reservation form.

If you submitted the reservation form, but did not receive any confirmation messages and/or are missing a confirmation for one or more children, it could be for one of the following reasons:

  • There might have been a typo or incorrect information entered in a particular field of the submitted form, preventing the district from matching your child's name with their student ID.

    • The district postponed the delivery of confirmation messages by a day to thoroughly clean extensive data, remove duplicate submissions of names, and eliminate extraneous text, all to ensure optimal distribution efficiency.

  • Your child's enrollment application is currently being processed, and thus, a student ID number has not yet been generated. Student ID numbers are required to send messages to specific users through ParentSquare.

    • The district is working on processing these applications, and will send your reservation confirmation once the application is finalized.

Please understand that unless you receive a reservation confirmation message before the event, Castleberry ISD will not have a backpack and supplies available for your child at the event. However, all families are encouraged to attend, as there will be a variety of resources and services available to support your preparations for the new school year. 

Meet the Teacher

Parents and are students are invited to attend Meet the Teacher hosted by each campus the Saturday before the first day of school. The annual event provides parents and students an opportunity to tour their campus, meet their teachers and administrators, and much more.

  • Castleberry High School and REACH | 9 to 10:30 AM

  • Irma Marsh Middle School | 9:30 to 11 AM

  • A.V. Cato Elementary, Castleberry Elementary, and Joy James Academy of Leadership | 10 to 11:30 AM
