Castleberry ISD welcomes Rose Hill as the district’s new Behavior Interventionist. Hill joins Castleberry ISD from Lake Worth ISD where she served as a Behavior Specialist for the past year. She started her career in education 14 years ago as a Special Education Resource teacher in Eagle Mountain Saginaw ISD.
Hill has earned her bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies with a specialization in Special Education from Texas A&M Commerce. Currently, she is pursuing her master’s degree in the field of Applied Behavioral Analysis from WGU. She holds certification in General Education as well as Special Education and is a Crisis Prevention Institute trainer.
For eight of her 13 years at EMS-ISD, Hill served as the lead elementary special education teacher. Additionally, she worked as the Student Success Academy Specialist, directly assisting students with behavioral needs. Hill’s passion for working with these students has led her to facilitate trainings in behavioral strategies and techniques. Notably, she was awarded the Spirit of Community award by the Governor and featured on Fox 4 news for her volunteer work with special needs students.
Raised in her hometown of Flower Mound, Hill graduated from Lewisville High School. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time fishing and camping with her husband Lee and her three children Blake (22), Kaitlynn (17), and Hunter (13). If she isn’t outdoors, she can often be found at the basketball court supporting her children.
Her goal is to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and she lives by the saying, “The children who need the most love will ask for it in the most unloving ways.” Hill extends her gratitude to the board of education for the opportunity to serve Castleberry ISD.
