Castleberry ISD Congratulates Pascal Licciardi Promoted to Principal of ALC.

Castleberry ISD is excited to announce the promotion of Pascal Licciardi as Principal of REACH High School and TRUCE Learning Center, the district's Alternative Learning Center, effective for the 2022-2023 school year. Pascal Licciardi has been with Castleberry ISD since December 2020 serving as Assistant Principal of TRUCE Learning Center. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, he launched his career in education at the New York City Department of Education. Since that time he has had the privilege of filling multiple roles affirming his uncompromising belief that all students can learn.

Pascal Licciardi began his journey as a teacher of ESL, Italian, and Music and then served as the school’s Dean and Instructional Coach–a position he also held at the district-level. As the Director of Teacher Development in the Arts, he spearheaded a first-of-its-kind blended professional learning series that supported the practice of teachers and administrators in service to New York City’s 1.1M students. Before relocating to Texas, he had the distinct honor of being appointed Assistant Principal of Music at one of New York City’s premier high schools—Edward R. Murrow High School.

Pascal Licciardi’s academic accomplishments include undergraduate degrees in Music and Italian Literature from CUNY: Brooklyn College (2000). At the graduate level, he earned degrees from Adelphi University in TESOL: Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (2006), The College of Saint Rose in School Administration (2008), and Hofstra University in Wind Conducting (2010). To satisfy his desire to lead effectively, he completed two highly regarded school leadership programs while in New York: LEAP – Leaders in Education Apprenticeship Program (2013) and ALPAP - Advanced Leadership Program for Aspiring Principals (2019).

Mr. Licciardi finds great joy in deepening his faith at Countryside Bible Church, spending time with his adored family, rooting on his hometown sports teams, and hosting dinner parties. Pascal feels blessed to be married to Kandace, a Texas native and practicing medical doctor at Amen Clinics in Dallas, and privileged to father Kaila (5) and Pierce (4).

Mr. Licciardi remains grateful to Castleberry ISD for the opportunity to serve the community as principal where he can continue to live out his daily charge: Empower, Encourage, Educate.
