Diane Burnett Named Special Education Coordinator
Castleberry ISD welcomes Diane Burnett as the district’s next Special Education Coordinator. Burnett joins Castleberry ISD from Alvarado ISD where she served as the Director of Special Education for the past three years. She started her career in education thirty years ago as a special education teacher in Wisconsin.

Morgan Long Named Literacy Instructional Coach
Castleberry ISD welcomes Morgan Long back as the district’s next Literacy Instructional Coach. Long returns to Castleberry ISD from Fort Worth ISD where she served as a Student Success Specialist for the past two years. She started her career in education 10 years ago as an ESL teacher in China.

Michelle Owen Promoted to CTE Instructional Coach
Castleberry ISD is thrilled to announce the promotion of Michelle Owen as the district’s first CTE Instructional Coach. Ms. Owen has served the Castleberry Independent School District for the past three years with the CTE team teaching business. Prior to joining Castleberry ISD, she started her career in education in Fort Worth ISD as a CTE teacher for three years.

Castleberry ISD is Rated 86 "B" in A-F Accountability
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) has released the academic performance ratings for school districts throughout the state. Castleberry ISD students, teachers, and schools continue to make significant progress as seen in the 2022 state accountability ratings. Castleberry ISD has received an overall performance score of 86, or a B. This is a 3-point increase from the 2019 score of 83.  more about Castleberry ISD is Rated 86 "B" in A-F Accountability
