Castleberry ISD is pleased to announce Sal Limas as Principal of REACH High School and TRUCE Learning Center, also referred to as the district's Alternative Learning Center, effective for the 2024-2025 school year. Beginning his career as a special education paraprofessional, Limas has spent 15 years in education, all of which have been within Castleberry ISD. Since then, he has taken on roles as an elementary teacher, at-risk coordinator, and most recently, advanced academic/college and career readiness advisor.
Limas has been a champion for students over the years, playing a crucial role in developing the district’s college and career readiness program to provide opportunities beyond high school. He has strengthened program partnerships that support students in college and career readiness, including UT OnRamps, College Board, Tarrant County College, and Tarrant To & Through (T3).
Limas earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management, as well as 2004 Indoor Track All-American honors at Northwood University. He went on to earn a Master of Science in Special Education from Walden University and completed the Principal Certification Program at Lamar University. He and his wife, Sarah Limas, have two sons, Kasen (11) and Lincoln (9).
He is honored to have the opportunity to continue to call Castleberry home, where he can be a champion for students as a campus Principal.
