Castleberry ISD Offers Free After-School Program with 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant
Castleberry ISD is a recipient of the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Center grants. This grant is intended to provide Castleberry ISD students with academic support, enrichment activities (including STEAM, sports, gaming, and more), social-emotional learning, leadership skills, high-impact tutoring (HIT), snack and dinner. The program also includes parental and family involvement activities that build on the local community, while also integrating career and college preparedness.
Students must be enrolled at a Castleberry ISD school to participate in this free after school program. The program starts on September 5, 2023 and runs every Monday through Friday until 6:00 PM at A.V. Cato Elementary, Castleberry Elementary, Joy James Academy, Irma Marsh Middle School, and Castleberry High School.
