Jeannette Bray Named Elementary Teacher of the Year for Castleberry ISD

Jeannette Bray, a first grade bilingual teacher at A.V. Cato Elementary, is Castleberry ISD's 2023 Elementary Teacher of the Year. With her extensive educational background and passion for teaching, she has made a lasting impact on her students, colleagues, and community. Her commitment to creating a safe and engaging learning environment, advocating for her students' needs, and fostering strong relationships sets her apart as an exemplary educator. As Castleberry ISD’s Elementary Teacher of the Year, Bray will advance to the regional level where one elementary teacher in Region XI will be named Region XI Teacher of the Year. 

Everett White Named Secondary Teacher of the Year for Castleberry ISD

Everett White, a sixth through eighth grade physical education/athletics teacher and Boys' Athletic Coordinator at Irma Marsh Middle School, is Castleberry ISD’s 2023 Secondary Teacher of the Year. With over 30 years of experience in education, White has made a significant impact on the lives of countless students. As Castleberry ISD’s Secondary Teacher of the Year, White will advance to the regional level where one secondary teacher in Region XI will be named Region XI Secondary Teacher of the Year. 

Castleberry ISD Names Rubén Molinar Principal of Castleberry High School

Castleberry ISD is honored to introduce Rubén Molinar as the newly appointed principal of Castleberry High School. Molinar joins Castleberry ISD from Mansfield ISD, where he served at Summit and Timberview High School as an Assistant Principal and Academic Associate for the past three years. He embarked on his career in education 25 years ago as a bilingual teacher, instructing first and second grade students in Dallas ISD. 

Class of 2023 Graduation Information

Castleberry High School and REACH High School will hold their graduation commencement at the MacGorman Chapel and Performing Arts Center located on the campus of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, on Friday, May 26, at 7:30 PM. Castleberry ISD extends its congratulations to the class of 2023 parents, as this day marks a significant milestone for families. Castleberry High School Announces the Class of 2023 Salutatorian

Castleberry High School has announced that Hajar Zghoul is the salutatorian for the class of 2023. As the school community prepares to celebrate the incredible accomplishments of its graduating seniors, Hajar's achievement serves as a shining example of the dedication and hard work that Castleberry High School students strive for. 

Castleberry ISD Receives National Recognition for Music Education Excellence

Castleberry ISD has received the "Best Communities for Music Education" designation for its commitment to music education. This is the first time the district has received the award, which is given to schools that demonstrate outstanding achievement in providing music access and education to all students. Castleberry ISD answered detailed questions about funding, graduation requirements, music class participation, instruction time, facilities, support for the music program, and community music-making programs to qualify for the award. 

Pre-K and Kinder Registration for the 2023-2024 School Year Begins Saturday, April 1

Castleberry ISD will continue to offer free, full-day pre-Kindergarten (pre-K) and Kindergarten for the 2023-2024 school year. Registration for the district’s pre-K and Kindergarten programs opens online Saturday, April 1. Parents of a pre-K or Kindergarten student who prefer to register their child in person are invited to attend a Registration Event on Monday, April 3 from 5:30 - 7:00 PM at one of the elementary schools.

The Castleberry Independent School District invites the community to the dedication ceremony for the newly renovated CISD/Camp Carter Athletic Complex on Tuesday, March 28 at 6:30 PM.  

Castleberry Soccer Teams Qualify for Bi-District Playoffs on Friday

Both Castleberry High School Varsity soccer teams have qualified to participate in the UIL Bi-District Soccer Playoffs against Benbrook on Friday, March 24 at FWISD’s Farrington Field located at 1501 University Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76107.
