Dear Parents, Guardians, and Graduates,

Commencement for Castleberry High School and Reach High School will be held at W.O. Barnes Stadium on Friday, July 17, 2020, at 8:00 p.m. This is a momentous occasion for your son or daughter and we would like to congratulate you on this important accomplishment. Below is important information that will be helpful for you and your graduate as we approach this exciting day.

Family and guest tickets to enter the graduation ceremony at W.O. Barnes Stadium must be picked up at Castleberry High School on Wednesday, July 15th from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. Each senior will be given 4 family and guest tickets to enter W.O Barnes Stadium. Each ticket will allow one person to enter the facility. Graduates will not need a ticket. Family and guests are highly encouraged to sit together in groups of four. Face masks must be worn at all times.

Graduation will also be live streamed on YouTube for those who are unable to attend in person. Join us in celebrating the accomplishments of these students.

Graduates must arrive by 6:00 pm to the North Gym at CHS.
Students must park in the front student parking lot.


6:00 p.m. (for graduates & faculty)


Family and Guests may begin arriving at 7:00 pm. Face masks are required.

Social distancing will be expected and enforced for safety.
There will be a security and a bag check at the stadium.


8:00 p.m.


Cap and Gown and senior regalia


White collared shirt with tie, dark slacks, dress shoes.


School appropriate dress, or slacks/top.

Dress Code 
  • No flip flops or athletic shoes may be worn.
  • No heels will be allowed on the football field. Wedges are acceptable.
  • No alterations to the cap and gown will be allowed.
  • No facial piercings.
  • No unnatural hair color.
  • Cell phones will not be permitted during the ceremony.

Health and Safety

Face masks must be worn at all times. Exceptions only for official graduation photos and receiving diplomas. You are responsible for providing your own face masks. If you have your face mask from the canceled ceremony, please wear it. Graduates who do not follow the dress code will not walk.

All students will be screened for symptoms of COVID-19. If students show any signs, symptoms, or answer yes to any of the screening questions, they will not be allowed to walk based on guidance from the Texas Education Agency.

Seniors, do not bring the following to graduation:

  • Food or Beverages - Eat before you arrive.
  • Headphones or earbuds.
  • Leave purses, cell phones, cameras, & other personal belongings at home or in the car.
  • Do not bring anything that could be used to detract from the ceremony in any way.
