Healthy Summer Meals for Kids
Healthy MealsWhen school is out, summer meals are in. The SFSP (Summer Food Service Program) starts up when school ends to ensure our students continue to have access to healthy meals during summer vacation.

As Castleberry ISD already participates in the school meal program administered by the Texas Department of Agriculture, the district is eligible for the Seamless Summer Option, or SSO, that provides the meals.

The CISD summer meals are available starting June 9th – July 3rd. Children and teens 18 and younger are able to get free meals just by showing up at A.V. Cato Elementary, 4501 Barbara Rd., Fort Worth. Breakfast is served Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. and lunch is available from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

No identification is required. Just show up and have a nutritious meal!

For more information, pick up a brochure at any Castleberry ISD campus office or visit Healthy Summer Meals for Kids online.
