Family Engagement

Each year, Castleberry ISD and its campuses develop Family Engagement Plans designed to foster strong partnerships between families, schools, and the community. These plans outline strategies to promote meaningful family involvement and support positive attitudes toward education.

The most current district and campus Family Engagement Plans are linked on this page. While each plan is tailored to the specific needs of its school community, all include the six required components established by the Commissioner’s Rule:

  1. Facilitate family-to-family support

  2. Establish a network of community resources

  3. Increase family participation in decision-making

  4. Equip families with tools to enhance and extend learning

  5. Develop staff skills in evidence-based practices that support families in meeting their children’s learning benchmarks

  6. Evaluate family engagement efforts and use evaluations for continuous improvement

In addition, in compliance with Title I, Part A guidelines, each campus develops a Parental Involvement Policy. The policy for each campus is linked below.
