Bus Routes/Transportation

Follow the bus driver’s instructions at all times.

Use respectful language and behavior; refusal to cooperate is not allowed.

Board and exit the bus only at assigned stops.

Only registered bus riders may board — no guest riders are permitted.

Parents are responsible for ensuring their child gets to the bus stop on time.

Arrive at the bus stop 5 minutes before the scheduled pickup time.

Do not wait inside a home — wait where the driver can see you.

Keep all personal items packed and ready before the bus arrives.

Stay off the road while waiting.

Students who miss the bus should return home promptly.

Wait for the bus to come to a complete stop before approaching.

Use the handrail and board in an orderly fashion.

Sit in your assigned seat immediately.

Follow classroom behavior expectations.

Keep hands, feet, and belongings inside the bus and to yourself.

Remain seated while the bus is moving.

Eating, drinking, or using tobacco, e-cigarettes, or vapes is not allowed.

Keep the bus clean; do not damage school property.

Students who violate rules may face disciplinary action, including suspension from transportation.

Stay seated until the bus comes to a full stop.

Use the handrail and exit carefully.

Do not push, crowd, or run.

Cross the street in front of the bus, 10–12 feet ahead, and only after making eye contact with the driver.

Never cross behind the bus.

Remain calm and follow the driver’s instructions.

Stay in a group when evacuating.

In case of emergency, students may need to exit from the rear or side of the bus.

Once outside, move to a safe distance and wait for further instructions.

Trip sponsors and building principals are responsible for student conduct.

Students must return on the same bus unless otherwise approved.

Buses must be cleaned after each trip.

Tobacco, alcohol, or drugs

Weapons or any explosive or harmful devices

Glass containers

Insects or animals

Skateboards, scooters, or large sports equipment

Oversized musical instruments or projects too large for the lap
