Castleberry ISD

Due to winter weather and unsafe travel conditions, Castleberry ISD will be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 28.

While conditions have improved in some areas, many neighborhood and secondary roads remain icy and difficult to navigate, creating unsafe conditions for buses, student drivers, staff, and families. The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority, and these decisions are not made lightly.

All athletics, after-school programs, fine arts, and district/campus activities scheduled for Wednesday are canceled or will be rescheduled. Campuses and program staff will share additional details as plans are finalized.

Important Calendar Note

Castleberry ISD will be in session on Monday, Feb. 16, and Tuesday, Feb. 17. These days are designated as Weather Make-Up Days on the board-approved 2025–2026 academic calendar, as required by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) to ensure weather-related closures do not impact required instructional hours.
