Castleberry ISD proudly hosted its annual Career and Technical Education (CTE) Advisory Board Luncheon at Rockwood Golf Course on April 30, bringing together community business partners, educators, and district leaders for an afternoon of recognition and reflection.
The event celebrated major accomplishments from the 2024–2025 school year, including:
-
161 industry-based certifications earned by students in areas such as Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft 365, ServSafe, Patient Care Technician, and more.
-
27 student intern placements in career-aligned aide positions through the district’s CareerPrep initiative.
-
1,000+ hours of work-based learning completed by students through partnerships with local businesses.
-
The work of the Effective Advising Framework Steering Committee, which spent the past nine months developing a more impactful advising model to align student planning with college and workforce readiness.
Attendees also learned about the exciting launch of Castleberry Collegiate Academy, opening in Fall 2025 as the district’s first Early College High School. With a focus on Cybersecurity, the academy will offer students a tuition-free path to an Associate of Arts degree alongside their high school diploma.
“This luncheon is more than a meal—it’s a celebration of collaboration,” said Stephanie Martinez, Director of Career and Technical Education. “Our students succeed because of the village that surrounds them. Today we honored that village.”
Castleberry ISD extends its sincere thanks to all partners, advisory board members, and CTE staff who continue to invest in the future of its students.
