Castleberry High School Honors Top 10 Seniors and Influential Educators in a Night of Inspiration and Celebration

Fort Worth, TX – April 22, 2025 — Under the warm evening skies at Rockwood Park Golf Course, Castleberry High School held a truly unforgettable celebration, honoring the Top 10 graduating seniors of the Class of 2025. The event was a moving tribute to academic excellence, the power of mentorship, and the limitless potential of our students as they prepare to embark on the next chapter of their lives.

Ten exceptional seniors were recognized for achieving the highest academic rankings in their class—a reflection of years of dedication, perseverance, and heart. But the celebration did not stop there. Each student took a moment to honor a teacher who played a pivotal role in their journey. In a touching exchange, students presented their mentors with a commemorative medal, and in return, the teachers placed an honor cord around their student’s shoulders—a symbol of mutual respect, admiration, and shared success.

Accompanying the ceremony was a heartfelt letter written by each student, expressing deep gratitude and love for their chosen educator. These letters offered a powerful glimpse into the lasting impact teachers make in the lives of their students, bringing many in attendance to tears.

The evening reached new heights with a special keynote address from Dr. Rachael Capua, Dean of Tarleton State University’s Fort Worth campus. Dr. Capua delivered a motivational speech entitled “10 Tips for Life After High School”, sharing uplifting and practical wisdom to guide our seniors forward. Among her inspiring messages were:

  • “Never forget where you came from.”
  • “Silence the imposter.”
  • “Be grateful for the ‘no’s’.”
  • “Dream big and do big.”
  • “Ask, seek, knock.”

Her final surprise left the audience stunned and overjoyed—automatic acceptance into Tarleton for all 10 honorees, with a full year of tuition, books, and meals fully covered for eligible students up to four years. Gasps of excitement filled the room as students and families processed the life-changing announcement.

To close out the evening, Mr. Saldivar, Castleberry’s College, Career, and Military Readiness Advisor, delivered a heartfelt message to the seniors: “You will always have a home here at Castleberry High School. Your potential is limitless, and the mark you leave on the world will be powerful and meaningful.”

This special evening was not just a celebration of academic achievement—it was a reminder of the strength of community, the beauty of mentorship, and the boundless futures awaiting our students. Our Top 10 seniors are poised to become the next wave of leaders, innovators, and changemakers of their generation. We couldn’t be more proud.

The future is bright—and it begins here.
