Castleberry ISD welcomes John Fowler as the newest officer to join the district's police department, serving at Castleberry Elementary. Fowler joins Castleberry ISD from Sansom Park Police Department, where he served as a patrol officer for the past several years. He began his career in public service 10 years ago as a corrections officer in the state correctional system.

Fowler graduated from the police academy in 2020. His education and ongoing training have provided a strong foundation for his role in law enforcement, particularly in community and school-based safety.

Throughout his law enforcement career, Fowler has served as a patrol officer and field training officer, mentoring and guiding new recruits. He has worked closely with Joy James Academy of Leadership and their assigned police officer, reinforcing his passion for supporting students and school staff through proactive safety measures.

Outside of work, Fowler is a devoted husband and father of four daughters. He and his wife have been married for 10 years and enjoy spending time together as a family, whether playing board games, video games or simply enjoying one another’s company.

Fowler believes in creating safe, welcoming environments where students can thrive. He is honored to serve the Castleberry ISD community and thanks the Board of Education for the opportunity to support and protect its schools.
