Spring Advisory Board Luncheon
Castleberry ISD recently hosted its annual CTE Advisory Luncheon, celebrating student achievements and the power of community partnerships. Highlights from the 2024–2025 school year included 161 industry-based certifications, 27 career-aligned intern placements, and over 1,000 hours of work-based learning. The event also recognized the nine-month effort of the Effective Advising Framework Steering Committee. It announced the upcoming launch of Castleberry Collegiate Academy, the district’s first Early College High School with a Cybersecurity focus. The luncheon served as a powerful reminder of the shared commitment between educators, business leaders, and the community to prepare students for lifelong success.

Castleberry ISD juniors and seniors in the Education & Training pathway were honored at the inaugural Tarrant County Future Educator Signing Day, hosted by the REV Partnership at Tarleton State University’s Fort Worth campus. The event celebrated students committed to pursuing careers in education through CTE coursework and hands-on experience. Castleberry High School senior Cheyenne R. shared her inspiration of being able to commit to her future to impact others. Director Stephanie Martinez emphasized the district’s intentional efforts to develop future educators early, highlighting Castleberry’s commitment to growing a strong, homegrown teacher pipeline.

CHS Seniors Celebrated For Workforce Excellence
Fifteen Castleberry High School CTE students were honored at the Fort Worth Mayor’s “Where Achievement Begins” celebration on April 24, 2025, at Casa Mañana Theatre. Recognized as CTE Pathway Completers with Industry-Based Certifications in fields like Health Science, Cybersecurity, Culinary, and Business, these students exemplify career readiness. Castleberry’s Health Science program was also spotlighted, with teacher Kristin Flewelling receiving the first-ever Outstanding Educator Award. The event celebrated students’ workforce achievements and highlighted Castleberry ISD’s commitment to preparing graduates for success beyond the classroom.

Castleberry Student Shines at 2025 Youth Art Month State Exhibition
Joy James Academy of Leadership fifth grader Sergio R. was recently recognized at the 2025 Youth Art Month Exhibition and Awards Celebration in Austin. His artwork was selected for display by the Texas Art Education Association. Congratulations to Sergio and art teacher Ms. Isabel Rocha for this outstanding achievement!

Castleberry High School Honors Top 10 Seniors and Influential Educators in a Night of Inspiration and Celebration
Castleberry High School honored its Top 10 seniors on April 22 at Rockwood Park Golf Course. Students celebrated their mentors, shared heartfelt letters, and received surprise full scholarships to Tarleton State University. The evening highlighted achievement, gratitude, and a bright future ahead.
