CISD STEM Academy @ River District Now Accepting Applications for the 2025-2026 School Year

The CISD STEM Academy @ River District is now accepting applications from current fifth-grade students interested in joining for the 2025-2026 school year. Since its launch in the 2021-2022 school year with the class of 2028, the program has flourished into a hub of innovation, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration among students.
The 2025-2026 school year marks a significant milestone for the STEM Academy—the enrollment of its fifth cohort of students. This achievement underscores Castleberry ISD’s ongoing commitment to preparing students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in an increasingly technology-driven world.
The Academy offers a rigorous educational experience focused on advanced science, technology, engineering, and math. Upon graduation, STEM Academy students will possess advanced academic and job skills that prepare them for success in college, careers, or military service. Additionally, students can apply for the Castleberry Collegiate Academy in ninth grade, where they have the opportunity to earn an Associate's degree and a Level 1 Cybersecurity certificate through Tarrant County College.
