Remote Learning Extended Through May 22nd
With the recent announcement by Governor Abbott concerning school closure, CISD will not resume face-to-face classroom instruction for the remainder of the school year; however, rest assured CISD will continue to offer all our students Remote Learning opportunities, as well as continue to receive help from their classroom teachers.

School Re-Opening Delayed
After consulting with Tarrant County Public Health and following the guidance issued by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), Castleberry Leadership has decided to extend Castleberry ISD’s Spring Break for at least two weeks. At this time, all schools will be closed to students until Monday, April 6th.

Reading Buddies Information Session
Reading buddies is a program sponsored by Castleberry ISD which matches adult volunteers with students in grades PK-12. Volunteers and students meet once a week at individual schools to practice reading and improve reading skills.

The front addition to Irma Marsh middle School is complete! It looks amazing and has transformed the overall look of the school into a beautiful, modern campus. Inside the front addition, the new library is open for business and the office staff has moved into their new space.

On Saturday, October 19, 2019, thirty-three young ladies from Irma Marsh Middle School (IMMS) had the opportunity to attend the annual Sister to Sister Summit. The summit is held for middle school aged girls that attend school in Castleberry ISD as well as Fort Worth ISD.

The Texas Education Agency (TEA) has released the academic performance ratings for school districts throughout the state. Castleberry ISD did very well in the 2018-2019 school year and saw a marked improvement over our score from 2017-2018.

Parent University is returning to Castleberry ISD following the success of the 2018-2019 class. Parent University utilizes the Raising Highly Capable Kids coursework. Raising Highly Capable Kids is a 13-week course created to help build stronger families by giving you the confidence, tools, and skills you need to raise healthy, caring, and responsible children.

The Hispanic Wellness Coalition is holding wellness fair at ESC Region 11 on Saturday, August 3rd. There will be free health screenings for the entire family including blood pressure, hearing, Hepatitis C, vision, and iron checks. There will also be back to school shots, mammograms, sports physicals, and a food pantry.

It is time to register for the 2019-2020 school year at Castleberry ISD. Online registration for the 2019-2020 school year opens on Monday, July 8th, 2019 and closes on Monday, July 29th, 2019. Complete online enrollment to get your fast pass for campus registration on July 31st & August 1st.

Summer Meals at CISD
Each year during summer break, the Castleberry ISD Summer Meals program offers free breakfast and lunch to any child 18 years and younger. This year, CISD is providing meals at two locations to better serve the students. No reservations or ID are required.

Summer School 2019
Castleberry ISD has summer school opportunities available for all grades this year. If your child has been receiving interventions, performed below expectations on assessments or has struggled to maintain passing grades each six weeks, they may be required to attend summer school.
