Secondary School Supply Lists

Listed below are the common school supplies for all students attending Castleberry ISD Secondary Schools. These supplies are necessary in order for students to be prepared each day for school. A few items on this list may need to be replenished mid-school year. Your child's teacher may have a wish list of additional items for the classroom. If you would like to purchase those additional items we encourage you to do so. 

Backpack Requirements

Safety of all students and staff is the top priority in Castleberry ISD. Clear or mesh backpacks are required for all CISD students. Any questions concerning the use of backpacks can be directed to the Director of Human Resources or the Executive Director of Educational Leadership at (817) 252-2000.

Free Home Internet Access

Castleberry ISD provides a Safe, Secure, and Filtered Internet Connection to students at home, free of charge, through broadband Internet towers. Students living within district boundaries may check out a WiFi router to use at home during the school year. Students who live outside of district boundaries can check out an AT&T Hotspot.  For more information about CISD's Digital Equity for All initiative, visit the Digital Equity 4 All website.

Masks

On May 18, 2021, Governor Abbott issued an Executive Order GA 36 that requires the Texas Education Agency to revise their guidance to reflect the following:

“No governmental entity, including a county, city, school district, and public health authority, and no government official may require any person to wear a face covering or to mandate that another person wear a face covering.”

To remain compliant with Executive Order GA 36, face coverings are optional for students and staff.

Fees

Castleberry ISD will not be charging computer usage fees during the 2021-2022 school year. However, any fines incurred for lost or damaged items must be paid.
