Student Support Services

Castleberry ISD offers a range of student support services designed to address academic, behavioral, emotional and language-based needs. These programs help ensure that all students have access to the resources and supports necessary for success in school and beyond.

Special Education

Castleberry ISD provides individualized support and services for students with disabilities in the least restrictive environment. Services are tailored to meet each student’s needs as determined by the Admission, Review and Dismissal (ARD) Committee.

504 Services

Section 504 services ensure that students with qualifying disabilities have equal access to learning. Accommodations are provided through a formal plan to support academic success in the general education setting.

Castleberry ISD’s Multilingual Programs support emergent bilingual students through Dual Language and ESL services. Students develop bilingualism, biliteracy, and academic success while building strong language skills and cultural understanding in a supportive learning environment.

Through the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act, CISD provides support for students experiencing homelessness, helping to ensure stability, access to school, and connection to needed services.

Gifted and Talented Services

Castleberry ISD provides Gifted and Talented (GT) services that challenge and engage advanced learners through differentiated instruction, enrichment activities and critical thinking opportunities. Students are identified through a formal screening process based on multiple criteria.
