Advanced Placement Courses

The College Board

The Advanced Placement Program® (AP) enables willing and academically prepared students to pursue college-level studies while still in high school. The program consists of college-level courses developed by the AP Program that high schools can choose to offer, and corresponding exams that are administered once a year.

The Advanced Placement Program® (AP) enables willing and academically prepared students to pursue college-level studies while still in high school. AP teachers supply a syllabi for AP courses which is aligned with college course work and reviewed by the AP Coordinator for the district. AP courses meet specific college-level subject course expectations. AP teachers design their own syllabi with these standards in mind.
