CPI Training

Target Audience: Administrators, counselors, SPED teachers, SWs

Dates: vary, see above options
Time: 8:30 am - 12:30 pm
Location: Castleberry Elementary, PLC Room

Description: CPI De-escalation training. Contact Stephanie Mathis if you did not receive your online CPI Module training email. Prior to attending the hands-on training, you will need to have your online prerequisite completed on or before the day of the training. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes. No devices needed.

RLA 6-12: Recharge RLA: Refine Reading and Writing Instruction

Target Audience: Reading/Language Arts teachers grades 6 through 12

Dates: Monday, July 7 & Tuesday, July 8, 2025
Time: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
Location: Irma Marsh Middle School Library

Paid Session: $25 per credit hour

Description: Tosh McGaughy will present strategies for integrating reading and writing and targeting revising/editing in this 2-day training.


 

 

Co-Teach Training

Target Audience: K-12 Special Education and General Education Co-Teachers

Date: Thursday, July 17, 2025
Time: 9:00 am to 11:00 am
Location: Administrative Building Board Room

Paid Session: $25 per credit hour

Description: Co-teaching is a collaborative approach that can effectively meet the needs of all students. Participants will receive an overview of the co-teaching models, receive co-planning tips, and learn about our district expectations.

Statutory Compliance Training

These required courses are delivered online through various agencies. Staff will receive CPE credit once a certificate of completion is uploaded and credit is requested in Eduphoria.

Time: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Description: Kathryn Walker will lead participants through the Content Imperatives and how they work with Depth and Complexity Thinking in this 6-hour course. 


 

 

New SpEd Teacher Training 

Target Audience: All NEW Special Education Teachers in Castleberry ISD

Date: Thursday, July 17, 2025
Time: 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
Location: Administrative Building Board Room

Paid Session: $25 per credit hour

Description: This is a required training for all new Special Education teachers in CISD. Teachers will receive training in case management, IEP development, ARD facilitation, SHARS, ESPED, least restrictive environment, and data driven practices.
