PACE Saturdays

What is PACE?

The Promoting Achievement for Castleberry Excellence program, or PACE, is a voluntary student support program where our dedicated team of educators and administrators at each campus are stepping up and opening schools for in-person instruction from 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon on Saturdays for students who may need just a little extra help.

PACE Saturdays will feature limited class sizes, personalized individual instruction, and stringent cleaning and safety measures as found in our Reentry Guidebook. Students may also bring the meal provided to them by Child Nutrition during meal pickup to eat during the day.

Who is PACE for?

The PACE program is open to any student who  desires to be a Castleberry ISD PACEsetter or feels they may be falling behind or need some additional help to do their best this school year. Some examples might include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • A student who has been participating in remote learning, but isn’t learning at the pace they usually do.
  • A student who has been learning in person, but has fallen behind due to the changes and stresses that have come with the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • A student of a safety conscious family who has been doing remote learning, but is falling behind and is going to be changed to completely in-person learning if their performance doesn’t improve.
  • A Gifted and Talented or Advanced Placement student who is still doing okay in school, but isn’t learning at the level or pace that they have come to expect from themselves.
