CCDAC Scholarships
Annually
Castleberry Community Drug Free Awareness Coalition (CCDAC) awards
scholarships to two CISD graduating seniors. Applications are available in
your high school counseling office or by clicking on a link below. Please
see your high school counselor for application deadlines.
Brian Collins served as the Vice-President of CCDAC for two years.
Brian was firefighter with the city of Fort Worth and River Oaks. He died in
the line if fire in 1999. Brian was an wonderful person who was
committed to making our community safe and drug-free. The scholarship
is awarded each year to a graduating senior who has shown commitment to
volunteerism and drug prevention.
Carol Nichols served as the secretary of our organization
for two years. Carol was a fifth grade teacher at Joy James Elementary
School. She was committed to her students and the promotion of a safe
and drug free community. A scholarship was named in her honor for
graduating seniors interested in following her footsteps into the teaching
field.

Each contestant must be a full time student in a
Texas High School or comparable education program, must be a junior
or senior class member or graduate at the time of the MD-2
convention and be sponsored by a Lion/Lioness/Leo Club in MD-2. The
first place winner of each district contest is eligible to be
entered in the state contest. For more information and an
