Open House for Castleberry ISD's New Alternative Learning Center
ALC Open House Invitation The former A.V. Cato Elementary School is now the Alternative Learning Center (ALC), which will be used to educate and empower students to excel as lifelong learners. Castleberry ISD and Tarrant County College (TCC) have teamed up to provide extended education classes to the community. These classes will be available to senior citizens, adults, and students of all ages.

Classes expected to begin this Spring include: GED classes in English & Spanish, an English as a Second Language (ESL) class, college prep classes, and extension classes for all ages.

Castleberry ISD is opening its doors and inviting our community to take a firsthand look at the newly-completed Alternative Learning Center (ALC). The learning center is a multi-functioning facility that serves three programs:
  • REACH High School
  • TRUCE Learning Center
  • Extended Education Classes
The 19,110 square-foot facility has additional security enhancements, 9 classrooms, 2 professional development classrooms, a computer/science lab, 2 main office areas, and a large commons area. The entrance for REACH is on Ohio Garden, and the entrance for TRUCE is on Merritt Street.

Please join us at the ALC Open House to visit with staff members for more information on upcoming classes.

6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
