Receive Important Texts and Emails from Castleberry Schools
District Text Messaging
Castleberry ISD provides a service that enhances communications to our families by allowing the district to send important information via text messaging. The District uses text messaging to provide information that is timely, relevant, and for emergency situations.
In order to participate in the new service parents & guardians of CISD students must indicate their willingness (opt-in) to receive text messages on their cell phone. The process only takes a few seconds to complete: they simply text the word “YES” to 68453.
It is important to remember that in order to receive texts from Castleberry ISD, the school district must have the parent/guardian’s current cell phone number in the school database.
Parents and guardians should note that, depending on their personal texting plan, charges may be incurred for sending or receiving these text messages. They will need to check with their wireless carrier for possible texting charges.
The District has now added another component to receiving messages from the District. In addition to text messaging, parents and guardians can now sign up to receive emails. We realize texting is not appropriate for everyone, so we want those that prefer email to have that as an option, or even in addition to, the text message.
In order to receive emails, please update your contact information with your latest, correct email address.
Remember, parents and guardians will need to contact their student’s school to update their contact information in the database.
