Dr. Elizabeth Priddy, Principal at Castleberry High School, had the opportunity to recognize students and staff members at CHS during the November CISD Board of Education Meeting.

Karen M., A Senior at CHS, was recognized for being an outstanding leader at Castleberry High School. She is the Student Council President, an athletic trainer, participates in journalism, and is a member of the National Honor Society and Latinas in Progress. Karen is an extraordinary student leader who is always positive and eager to make CHS a great place to be.

Eleventh grader, Steven P. Jr., was also recognized as an outstanding student at CHS. He is a member of the football team and the choir, and is a cast member in CHS's fall musical "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee." Steven's coaches and teachers are impressed with his positive attitude and commitment.

Adrian C., a 10th grader at CHS, was recognized for his outstanding character and for always representing Castleberry High School in a positive manner. He is a member of the CHS Soccer Team and marching band. Adrian is an excellent student that is kind and humble.

Heather Lamb, CHS librarian, was recognized as an outstanding employee at Castleberry High School. Ms Lamb is the Student Council sponsor, leads Freshman Fish Camp, is the Girls Who code sponsor, Book of the Month Club sponsor, leads Late Night at the Cube, and is an advocate for both teachers and students. Heather is a tireless supporter of CHS and an innovative thinker who provides a wonderful library experience for the staff and students.

The CHS Library paraprofessional, Lauren McCrary, was also recognized as an outstanding staff member at Castleberry High School. Ms. McCrary has been with CISD for over 13 years. She was recognized for her tireless devotion and service to CHS as a librarian and Student Council sponsor who creates many opportunities for student involvement including the campus blood drives through Carter Blood Care. She was recently given national recognition by Carter Blood Care for the work she does locally organizing blood donation drives.
