Instructional Activities:
1.
Key boarding warm-up for 5 minutes
2.
Review with students how to click on the green x to open a new
spreadsheet
3.
Remind students how to locate specific cell addresses
4.
Tell students that their task for this computer session is to design
a picture of their own by clicking on cells and filling with a color.
5.
Have students save their work to their user folder.
Modifications: Students who complete their task
quickly can create more elaborate pictures and also can jot down
instructions so someone else can complete their picture.
Assessment: Teacher observation of pictures as
they are forming.
