Welcome to Castleberry ISD

Back to School - Fall 2008

New CISD Administrators
Castleberry ISD is welcoming several new administrators to the district as well as several administrators who are beginning this year in a new position.  To read more about these administrators click here.

A Note from the Superintendent:

On behalf of everyone in Castleberry Independent School District,  I would like to take this opportunity to welcome our new and returning students and parents to our district. The faculty and staff in CISD are dedicated to providing our students with meaningful and memorable learning experiences.

Each year, the district has an ongoing theme. This year’s theme is Mission Possible: Learning for All. As you prepare for the beginning of school, be assured that our staff has both the commitment and training to implement our theme. The staff has "accepted the assignment" of helping our students recognize and overcome whatever challenges may occur.

We have adopted the following initiatives for the 2008-2009 school year:
• Develop and monitor individualized learning plans.
• Enhance the effectiveness of the guidance plan.
• Engage the family and community in student learning.
• Expand the academic offerings and availability of summer enrichment programs.

You are invited to join us as we continue to create memories and carry on traditions. I encourage you to take time to be involved in your child’s education. Together, we make a difference.
Sincerely,

Gary S. Jones
CISD Superintendent of Schools
