Every student is required to bring with them daily their Art Kit. This kit includes the following items: zippered bag, two pencils, pencil sharpener, eraser, sketchbook, Prang or Prisma color pencils, fine point markers, and Prang watercolors. The kit can be purchased for $17.00 through the IMMS Art Department.
All classes will learn about artists and the history of their lives and artwork.
6th Grade -- Will build their knowledge of Elements and Principles of Art/Design through implementation of different mediums and techniques.
7th Grade -- Will reinforce their knowledge of the Elements and Principles of Art/Design while studying different careers related to art.
8th Grade -- Will learn different ways to portray themselves, others and places while continuing to reinforce the understanding of Elements and Principles of Art/Design.
Tutorials are Fridays after school.
The meeting time for this extra help is 3:50pm to 4:40pm.
If your student needs any other extra help they can make an appointment with
me for Monday or Wednesday mornings from 7:40am to 8:10am.
