Students are required to bring each of these to class every day:
3 ring binder with dividers, one labeled ELA
journal (spiral or composition book )
folder with pockets
pen/pencil
textbook
notebook paper
Students have a journal prompt on the board every day. They are to enter the room quietly and begin immediately. They are only allowed 3 minutes to complete, and a grade will be taken.
Students have three days to turn in any late work. Each day will result in a 10 point reduction on the final grade. Assignments will not be taken after this time.
Reading Log Requirement
Every student is required to read 100 minutes a week. Each reading log is due every Monday. We go to the Library every two weeks on Tuesdays to turn in and check out books.
