Substitute Opportunities

• Teacher, Para Professional, Para Educators and Nurses

• Pay $55.00 per day - less than 60 hrs of traditional college credit

• Pay $65.00 per day - 60 hrs or more of traditional college credit

• Pay $70.00 per day - Degree

• Long-term substitute Teacher assignments begin on the sixth day and pay $100.00 - $110.00 per day

• Substitutes are paid twice a month

• Substitutes must use Direct Deposit or a Payroll Card

Requirements for Employment

• Substitute Application Packet link

• High School Diploma or GED

• Two forms of identification

• Copy of Original College transcripts

• Two hours of training prior to placement in classrooms

• Next Training:  Friday December 5 1pm - 3pm

• You must substitute one day a semester to remain active in the system

Additional Information

• We are looking for bilingual substitutes and substitutes who are interested in working with our students                               who have special needs

• Ongoing training is provided by the Human Resources Department

• AESOP system allows substitutes to designate preferred assignments

• All Substitutes are expected to follow the Castleberry ISD Dress Code
