Text Message Launch

To begin receiving Text Messages from Your School:

Text “YES” to 68453

The Castleberry ISD Information Text Messaging Service is scheduled to officially launch Monday, September 10, 2012. This service is not intended to replace our existing means of communication, but to enhance them. The district will use text messaging to provide information that is timely, relevant, and for emergency situations.

In order to participate in the service you must indicate your willingness (opt-in) to receive text messages to your phone. Please take a moment to complete the opt-in process. The process is simple and only takes a few seconds to complete: Simply text the word “YES” to 68453.

You’ll know you were successful if you receive the following reply message: “You are registered to receive approx. 3 msgs/mo. Txt STOP to quit, HELP for help.”

It is important to remember that in order to receive texts from Castleberry ISD, the school district must have your current cell phone number in Skyward, the school database. Contact your student’s school to update your contact information.

Please note: Depending on your personal texting plan, charges may be incurred by you for sending or receiving these text messages. Check with your wireless carrier for possible texting charges.
