6th-12th Grade 1:1 Netbooks
6th-8th grade netbooks will be issued through Social Studies classes during the first week of school.

9th-12th grade netbooks will be issued at registration.

All students in grades 6 through 12 are issued a netbook enabling them to enhance their learning experience. With this one-to-one initiative, teachers are empowered to incorporate online classrooms and resources to enrich the content of their lessons on a daily basis.

First, students and parents must sign the Acknowledgement Form located in the Student Handbook and Code of Conduct. In the Student Handbook and Code of Conduct, parents and students are provided information on student responsible use, Internet safety, and digital citizenship.

Second, each student must pay a $25 non-refundable usage fee each school year. For students on free and reduced lunch, the non-refundable usage fee will be $15. Additionally, if a single family has more than 2 children between grades 5 through 12, there will be a $50 cap on the non-refundable usage fee and a $30 cap for those on free and reduced lunch.

This non-refundable usage fee allows for reduced fines the first time a student has damages to their netbook. Any damages there after would be paid in full.To see a list of fines for damages, locate the Netbook Usage Fee and Fines link on the left side of this page in the navigation pane.
