Thank you for your interest in becoming a substitute teacher with the Castleberry Independent School District. Substitute teaching is an excellent way to learn about the schools while allowing principals, teachers and staff to get to know you. 

The following is required in order to become a substitute:

    Step 1 - Submit an Online Application:  Click Here
                        The Reference section must include three (3) references with phone 
                        numbers. One must be a previous employer that can be contacted.
                        
    Step 2 - Submit Official Transcripts
                        Transcripts must indicate hours or degrees awarded. 

    Step 3 - Required Reading & Pre-Employment Documents

    Step 4 - Background Clearance and fingerprint done

    Step 5 - Attend Substitute Training on TBA August 2013 
                 Held at the Technology Building, 4801 Blackstone, Fort Worth, TX 76114

    Step 6 - Obtain ID Badge 
                        Following Substitute Training and all documents turned in you will receive your 
                        ID Badge

    Step 7 - Prepare to Receive Jobs
                        CISD currently uses AESOP to view and receive jobs.
