FAQs

1. My grades for the previous 6 weeks have disappeared! Where did they go?

2. A student just transferred into my class from another class on this campus. How can I get the transfer grades?

3. Can I view Withdrawn students grades?.

Setting Display Options:
On the first day of a grading period, the display options automatically opens the new grading period. This could cause the previous 6 weeks grades to not be displayed. To display the previous 6 weeks, click on Display Options>Grade Period Display. Put a check in the boxes under Display Assignments and Grade Period Display for the grading period that you want to view. Click Save.  (Return to top)

Transfer Grades:
If a student enters your class from another teacher's class on campus, you can see the student's averages by going to Family Access to view their grades. Click on the icon in front of the student's name. If a security window opens, click Yes. Then, click on Family Access Display to view the student's grades for all classes. You will be able to see the average from the previous teacher as well. (Return to top)

View Withdrawn Students:
Click on Display Options>Student Display. Put a check in front of Dropped Students and click Save. Students will now appear in your gradebook and will be highlighted in tan. You can do the same process to remove the check so htat withdrawn students will not appear in your gradebook. (Return to top)

Troubleshooting printer problems:
1. Make sure the power cable and printer cable are connected firmly.
2. Unplug the power for 1 minute. Reconnect the power. This will clear the memory on the printer. Resend the print job.
3. If the ink has faded to nothing, contact the campus secretary for a replacement. Be prepared with the printer name and model. Ex: HP Deskjet 820.
4. If none of the above tips resolve your problem, put in a work order to your Campus Computer Technologist (CCT).  (Return to top)

Blank Grade Sheet Report:
Mouse over Reports and click on Grade Sheet Report. Select one of the templates that includes Blank Grade Sheet and click Print. The report will be sent to your Print Queue (Return to top)

Directing Work Orders: 

Campus Computer Technologist (CCT) - equipment will not work, software needs to be loaded, software does not work properly,  telephone problems, remove or install equipment

Instructional Technologist - technology integration, scheduling labs, student logon account will not work, just in time trainings on computer applications, grade book issues
 
Trouble Shooting Tips:
 

Printer problems:
- Check cable connections
- Unplug power cable for 1 minute
- Restart Computer

Logon problems:
- Make sure Caps Lock is turned off
- Make sure there are no spaces at the end of your user name
- Make sure Domain is correct
- Check data cable connection
